Product Description
Levi is an example of the extent that beech can spalt without getting soft and punky. Normally, beech is a very light colored wood, similar to unspalted maple, as can be seen in some of my other pieces. But when the fungus travels through beech, amazing things can happen, as you see here.
Levi is quite heavy; you can see his top is rather thick, as are his legs. He’ll serve you well as a table, or a bench.
